Pre-sessional English
The Pre-sessional English course has been designed to provide you with CEFR B1/CEFR B2 English Language support
before the start of your academic studies at LITE. We provide a supportive learning environment, in which you will have the
opportunity to improve your language skills.
Course content
The course focuses on improving your academic English skills. Classes will include modules on:
READING, WRITING, SPEAKING AND LISTENING.
Extra skills training in:
Research, Presentations, Seminar, Taking notes, Grammar and Vocabulary Development.
Course Assessment
At the end of the pre-sessional English course, students will sit for Trinity Certificates in ESOL Skill for Life Test.
All the students will be tested on their writing, reading, speaking and listening skills and will receive a score for each component
as well as an overall score.
